In 2019, the Mount Magnet Quilt Project came to life when quilters from the West Australian Quilters Association were invited to exhibit at the Mount Magnet 2019 AstroRocks Fest in a joint exhibition with Wirnda Barna Artists, in the artists’ gallery at Mount Magnet. The quilts depict places that hold ASTRO significance for Aboriginal people, or ROCKY landscapes near Mount Magnet.
